Hogue on the Ruger scout?

If I'm not mistaken the ruger scout is a 77 MKII variant, will the rifle drop into the hogue stock ??

While the action is a short action M77 MKII, the barrel is a different contour and the bottom metal attaches differently than the standard M77 rifles. You might be able to modify the Hogue, but I doubt it's going to be a drop in.

The accessory Ruger GSR syn stock is well-braced in the fore-end area and has a reinforced and un-drilled 3rd mounting point for sling (in front of mag well) if one wants to run a 3-point "Ching Sling", available from TheWilderness. TheWilderness slings I have are top rate.

I have no advice to give on possible fitment issues of Hogue M77 Mk II stock re: Ruger GSR. Some folks have reported that Hogue "Overmolded" stocks may be a bit "sticky", but that is an issue of personal taste.
