I had a chance to handle one of these at the Great American Outdoor Show this past weekend. I was very impressed, more so than I expected to be. The action is super smooth. The magazine is secure and inserts/ejects easily. The sights were lever action standard, but easy enough to use. They told me RPP will be releasing furniture in a month or so to properly tacticool it or whatever. Definitely on the list to buy in the future. |

My favorite comment: "An AR15 with a clutch."  I'm not a big lever-action guy, but this does seem like a very decent option to running a bolt-action for quietness. Easier and faster to cycle than a bolt gun. I wonder how involved a barrel or bolt-face swap is. |

Henry's LASR is the best of both worlds, IMHO. AR barrels, bolts and mags alongside a fast manual action that loves to be suppressed. I'm seriously thinking about converting a .300BO to 6mm Max. I already have a 16" AR barrel that would do the trick. ETA: The barrel being freefloated is an extra bonus if you want to connect with targets out at distance. |
