I have an old AAC 3 lug “black out” 9 mm flash hider. Last fall, I put it on my B&T APC 9 for matches and let it on for a month (stupid me). It will not come off now. For the past 3 months, I have tried soaking it in a CLP. I have tried Kroil. The locking mechanism appears to be broke, and it won’t spring up and down like a normal 3 lug. So I cannot simply push it down, rotate and remove it like any other 3 lug device. A friend suggested a rubber mallet, but that seems to have made it worse. Thoughts? I’m guessing I have to give it to a gun smith who won’t damage my B&T barrel. Thanks |

I would have to remove the stock and aimpoint etc. Is the purpose to allow the 3 lug mechanism to reset? |
