I recently purchased a Stribog SP9A3 with the Tailhook brace and I'm trying to decide whether to SBR this and put a stock on it and if so...which one? My options and preferences right now are: -Keep the Tailhook brace and look into one of the buttpad options or just leave it as is and don't Form 1 it. Free. -Go with the HB Zukhov stock. Reasonably priced, a little space age looking but I like the lines, adjustable. Weighs 1/2 lb more. $189 plus shipping -Buy B&T stock (found one), A3 Industries adapter, mod and install. Looks the most "Euro" of the bunch, non-adjustable. $220 plus shipping from two different sources. -Buy OG folding stock from Grand Power. Non adjustable, lightweight, LOP might be too long...not sure but original to the gun. $89 plus shipping. What would you do or have you done? Pics appreciated! |

I settled on the Magpul UCS for my SP9A3. I have a F5 ACR type stock on my SP45A3, which looks nice, but it’s a bit heavy. Didn’t consider the factory stock for the long LOP and low comb height, which wouldn’t work well with my optic setup.  |

It looks great and might get me to SBR mine. |

The total UCS length varies from 8” to 11”, with six total positions. I have mine set at one out from fully collapsed because my face is against the hinge in the fully collapsed position. The overlap of the clamp on the rail is about 1/4”. HTH. |

To be honest, it's not that big of a factor to me. As I incorrectly (sorry about that bro!) IM'd you about the HDA3 Hybrid (mine being for a CMMG Dissent and NOT for a Stribog  ), it folds to the left and has a ton of functionality. The only issue I've seen is that the adapter can be a little sloppy. For the price, I would expect a rock solid connection. My CMMG fit perfectly, so it's something to be aware of. The price kind of sucks as well, but they are solid products.For these PCCs, I know a real, full size stock often gets pushed for SBRs, but quite honestly, I like the more compact form factor when folded and for God's sake, they're just 9mm, you don't need a stock for more than an additonal point of contact and adquate cheek weld!
