Help identifying M1 Carbine ammo

Picked up this ammo. I have no idea who made it. Any ideas?

It looks like a reload to me, that the person did not remove the crimp prior to seating the primer. The extreme flatness of the primer shows it was forced into the pocket under pressure.

Easy to spot a reload.
Check the rim for extractor marks
