I'm thinking along the lines of the old "Land Warrior" type set-ups, weapon mounted sight that can be viewed in a helmet mounted viewing device. Does anyone make such for civilians? I've been told that some thermal sights have ports to set up something like this but can't find anything along the lines of a helmet mounted viewer or something like that. Connecting it to NVG's maybe?

Lots of thermal has WiFi or blue tooth connectivity. Seems like it would be easy to connect it to a phone, but you would have to get creative for a wearable HUD.
