Ive been mulling over the 416D-SF at armsunlimited since they first advertised them, I realize its not the same as the 88-serial prefix guns but I am a shooter, not a collector. It looks identical to a issued semi auto gun I saw at a class from Fort Meade, what are the key differences between this and a LE-issued Semi HK416 other than possibly the bolt carrier and lower pocket milling? Will these accept an FRT? Are the difference between this gun and a MR556 worth the cost? Sell me on it or talk me out please, and thanks! Arms Unlimited HK 416D-SF |
416D SF is the semi only version of the 416D. Find a cheap MR556 and send out for refinish/remark. Don't know what they are asking for them but might be cheaper going that way. I've done two 416D SF clones. One in black and other in burnt bronze. Bronze one is 11" SBR.
