I'm sure a lot have seen the news of the Gunbroker change to MasterFFL for FFL finder management. Best regards, GunBroker.com Seller Assist Team So, if I'm reading that right they're going to start charging a fee for each item transferred. It also looks like if you're not paying MasterFFL for their service you won't be "prioritized." Buyers will see a new FFL selector during checkout that: Prioritizes preferred dealers Excludes dealers who have opted out of transfers Excludes dealers who do not accept transfers from non-FFL sellers Filters out dealers not authorized for required SOT/NFA items |
| I read those fees as applying to SOLD items (i.e. items YOU listed and sold), not charging the receiving dealer a fee. If they are indeed charging ME to receive Gunbroker transfers, that shit is getting passed right along to the buyer/transferee when I charge my transfer fee.... |

To me, this reads as it will only apply to sellers on GB. If you're not listed with Master FFL and are selected to receive a shipment, then Master will contact you first. I don't sell on GB but have customers that buy from there occasionally. What This Means for You as a Seller This partnership is designed to enhance operational efficiency, ensure compliance accuracy, and strengthen overall sales performance. Effective March 3, 2026, all regulated items requiring a Federal Firearms License (FFL) transfer will be processed through the Master FFL system. As part of this cooperative effort, GunBroker and Master FFL are encouraging Federal Firearms License holders to claim and manage their dealer profiles within the Master FFL Platform by visiting Claim your profile Simplified Transfer Process Master FFL eliminates the need for sellers to manually contact receiving FFL dealers to confirm transfer acceptance. Master FFL will: Contact the receiving FFL directly to verify they will accept the transfer Obtain a copy of the FFL license Provide a timestamp confirming when the license was received Automatically update order status once the license is uploaded In the Sold Order grid, sellers will see a link to view the transfer status, which directs them to a Master FFL page with real-time updates. Once the license is received, the order status will update to “FFL Received” with a timestamp. Sellers can then view or download the license directly from the Sold Order grid. Smarter Compliance & Dealer Selection Master FFL also enhances compliance by: Determining whether an item requires an SOT based on its category Restricting buyers from selecting dealers who do not process NFA items (when applicable) Buyers will see a new FFL selector during checkout that: Prioritizes preferred dealers Excludes dealers who have opted out of transfers Excludes dealers who do not accept transfers from non-FFL sellers Filters out dealers not authorized for required SOT/NFA items If a buyer selects a dealer who has not indicated transfer preferences, Master FFL will contact the dealer to confirm. If the dealer declines or fails to respond within two business days, the buyer will be notified to choose another dealer. |
