Are the ATI and KCI ones actually different, or are they made in the same korean factory and sold under different names? |

Years ago I’m pretty sure the ATI mags were just “branded” KCI mags. Now new production KCI mags aren’t that rough phosphate, they’re more like a cerakote/lacquer finish in their Gen 2 mags. I’ve run a few of the new 20 rounders in fast mode without any issues. Just seemed to be the older phosphate ones that would fail to feed in the last round or two, which made me upgrade the springs. |

KCI USA has a lifetime warranty on their products, and at least when it comes to the ATI-imported mags, they will replace them at no cost. I, too, had a pile of those green-box mags with my ATI-import AT-94. Some worked, some didn't. All the ones that were inop were replaced no-questions-asked by KCI USA with their Gen 2 mags. |
