So, I just e-filed a form 4 for a YHM R9 for my PCC’s and as a bonus the R9 does a wide variety of center fire rifle calibers. I’m considering enlisting it on my American Ranch 7.62x39. Has anyone tried subsonic ammo in their rifle and if so, which rounds did you have success with ? I believe the twist rate is 1-9.5” and I’m wondering if it will stabilize bullets in the 180-250 range. TIA |

I have 2 gen 1 RAR’s in x39. Both shoot the brown bear into the same hole at 50 yards and all rounds stay subsonic. I have shot the Hornady subx, and it is very accurate, but about 1 in 3 rounds went super for me, which is very annoying… |
