Gen 1 300blk Ranch Rifle Stock replacement?

I agreed to buy a Ruger American Ranch rifle from a buddy. It's a gen1 .300blk that takes the rotary mags. He lost the mag so I was hoping there is a different stock option for it that may upgrade the mag.

Not having luck looking. Any advice? Did I buy a crummy model?

Some of the Gen 1's could be converted to an AR mag. Think it's a date and they have a serial number guide. I have an early one that Magpul told me would work with their AICS stock but I couldn't get it to feed manually at home.

Call Ruger they can tell by serial number. If the bottom of your bolt is mostly round, limited options, if it has clearance cuts for AR magazines there are more options.

I put my RAR into a Magpul stock and have an extra bottom AR mag base if you want to IM me we can talk about it.
