Have always been curious about what different and/or proprietary gas systems there really are. Obviously there's the "intermediate" (longer than mid, but shorter than rifle) kind, but are the carbines a typical carbine gas length? What about rifle or LPR variants? Also, on gas ports has anyone actually taken something like a pin gauge to measure? I guess what I'm getting at is I have a mix master SR15 I acquired and want to build an LPR at home. Really would like to source a barrel that mimics the proprietary gas system if possible. |
