My two sons have been into airsoft since they were young and have invited me along. I also have a major deer mouse and pigeon problem in my yard. I see airsoft guns on the jungle store that shoot the same caliber BBs as the aluminum ones I shot as a kid. First question: can an airsoft rifle that shoots nylon 6mm BBs also shoot aluminum 6mm BBs? Second question: can a modern jungle store gun ($109 for a Rem 700 clone I'm looking at) produce enough power to thunk a 25-year-old in the noggin, plus enough power to humanely dispatch a rodent, flying or otherwise? I like standoff distance between me and my enemy. Third and final: what is a good amateur beginner turn-key setup? Thanks |
