I have been looking at the GSG-5 Slimline Handguards. Just couldn't bring myself to pay $70 for one. Decided just to make my own. Cost $29.70 for 2 full sized handguards.

Robertrtg.com has them in jungle green brand new for 7.50. All you have to do is dye or paint them black. |

The first page in this topic (about half way down) has a thread on that. You can get the barrel with the can attached and save the SBR stamp. But my understanding is that the can and barrel have to be mated BEFORE they come near the gun or trouble could happen. So you couldn't buy them and keep them all in the same drawer until assembly begins. "Constructive possession" and all that. |

What kind of rail do you have to mount this scope on your GSG-5? I have this scope and a piciteny rail that is just a little to short to fit over that rectangle protrusion over the rear rail mount. What the hell is that for anyway. I see no purpose for it? I need some kind of rail that will go over that. Thanks!

Purchased an ICS adjustable folding stock that fit my GSG-522SD without any modifications. Purchased from evike.com. Has adjustable cheek rest and stock length. Really happy with it. (I know I would need to lower the cheek rest in the fold picture to prevent blocking ejection port).

TAG for answers I bought my 9 inch barrel direct from ATI. Had to call them, they didn't list it on their website. But they were in stock. $65 I think. |
