I'm looking for a gas airsoft M&P to supplement my dry fire and live ammo training. Having been out of airsoft for some time, I'm unfamiliar with which of the limited options would be suitable. I'd like something that just runs as is and I don't have to spend so much upgrading parts that it ends up costing what my real M&Ps cost. A notable exception would be if I were able to make the trigger be somewhat similar to a factory M&P trigger. I know I'll never get an airsoft gun to feel like my Apex triggers. Being able to mount a dot would be nice too if there's a decent option that allows that. I'd also be interested in an airsoft version of my shield for the same purpose. |

I have a Marui 9L, WE "Big Bird" and VFC 9C. I'd put the VFC and Marui on roughly equal footing. If I had to choose between the two, I'd go with the VFC because it's easier to source parts. You can get Marui parts, but you pretty much have to have them shipped direct from Hong Kong or Japan. The WE isn't bad, but it's a little less polished that the others. Mine has held up pretty well. |
