 Found some good prices on powder, 2400 $35, W-244 $30, and Silhouette for $25. Found 200 35 Rem cases, bags marked $45 per 50, bought all he had for $40 a bag. The only 35 Rem at the show. I think I have enough now. Looked for 45 Colt, but the few bags I found were marked over $1 per case. Passed, I backordered 500 from Starline. (.26 each with free shipping) Full box of 500 Zero brand 125 gr 357, and a partial box for $60, did some bargaining there. Got a 3k or so 357 loading project coming up.  Uniflo in the box with extra parts, don't need it, not sure what I'm going to do with it, but couldn't pass it by at $25, Redding PM was $10 at the same table.  120MM mortar can for $30, don't have a use for it figured out yet, but price was right. Got the cleanest one out of the stack, and the guy came down $5.  I'm always looking for plastic ammo boxes, these were $2, and the shotgun (red) one was free. Bag of 100, 10mm brass....all large primer I checked for $20. Dillon 550 tool head, $30, Vintage Weaver K4 4 power scope for $40. Will go on the Savage 99 I got a while ago.  Saved the best for last. 3 SDB's for $800, 2 in nice shape, one has a little rust but will clean up good. This was the vender I bought the last SDB from and he promised to bring more next show. He came through.  Knighted2 was also there and he got a SDB in 9mm for $300. Last show he got a 45 ACP SDB from this vender. This vender also had a 650 with 3 complete toolheads (meaning a PM for each) in 9mm, 45 ACP and 223. Had a case feeder bracket and all the stuff for the case feeder except the motorized hopper on top. He was asking $1200, saw it leave the show before noon, Don't know the price paid, I would imagine $1100....? He was the one I got the 550 toolhead from. Had a great time catching up with my funshow friends and making new friends. Got talking to a vender that had a reloading table and was talking to his wife. I mentioned I had some balloon head cases I wanted to sell, she introduced me to a black powder guy. I had 24, 45-70 and 34, 44-40 cases I had wet tumbled years ago, I wanted $20 and he paid me. You meet the nicest folks at the funshow.  |

 Got started on the first SDB that going to be in 44 Mag. Got the 44 Mag die set in from a board member today. The die set it came with is 45 ACP.  Got most of it apart, time to clean the old black wheel bearing grease off someone used. This press has the bronze linkage bearings.  All parts cleaned, easier to see the bronze bearings, I will replace the wave bearings, (4 white strips to the left of the handle) Have a new powder measure to put on this press, so not in pics. |

Update on SDB's. #1 dissembled, cleaned and waiting for wave bearings before going back together.  Action pic, cleaning then off to wire wheel for frame polishing.  Powder measure dissembled, primer assy dissembled parts getting a coat of wax.  #2 in it's box ready for assembly tomorrow.  Cut out 4 light holders from sheet copper. To my knowledge nobody makes a light for the SDB, so I make a bracket and mount my 550 light. So my one 550 light can go from both the 550's and all 9 of the SDB's. |

I am very jealous not only of your presses, but also that you seem to have a good gun show. Our gun shows consist of Nazi memorabilia, beef, jerky, and way over priced rifles that are beat to crap. People post about deals all the time that they happen to come across, but I have yet to be self fortunate. |

Had a good day today. Assembled #2 SDB today. #1 is waiting parts, #3 is coming. These are the upgrades I add to all of my Dillon presses. Easy Dial for a repeatable micrometer powder measure. Powder funnel that has a 2 step expander like a Lyman M die. Far right a easy to pull powder measure release, no allen wrench needed to remove the PM. My home made light bracket and some tabs for the locator tabs.  Installed the shellplate while ram was out, much easier. Where the wave bearings go, half of them in place.  I use Cherry Balm on the bearings and where the ram meets the bearings.  Sliding in the ram into the wave bearings. The bolt is installed after ram is installed. It is the stop to keep the ram in place.  Time to mount press to a stand so primer assembly, powder measure, dies (357), and 1st gen Fail Safe rod can be installed. I'm using the old school PM with the dual return springs, and FS rod.  All finished, took about 4 hours taking my time. Press operates very smooth.  |

 Started on #3, yes it's rough, but can be saved with a new powder measure, new link arm bearings, low primer warning and some TLC. I have those parts.  15 minutes later it was dissembled. Got about half way finished cleaning it up. The die set is 45 ACP in this one, so I have to change the primer assembly to the small size. I should have the parts in my Dillon parts box. Later in the day, got my order in from Dillon, so #1 can go together. |

I like the looks of that easy dial.....looks easy I have the micrometer one from uniquetek and works pretty good with their excel sheet. |

 Got back to work on cleaning #3. This pic has some as is corroded, and the rest has been polished. Right after this pic, I finished polishing the frame. Waxed the primer assembly, and installed a small primer slide assembly. Everything cleaned and ready to put back together. This press will get a new PM. |

#3 before cleaning.  #3 after cleaning. Replacing the PM on this one.  Got the PM cleaned up. Dillon order in today, have a new hopper for it now. Started working on the light brackets. |

 Finished the 4 light brackets for my 3 new SDB's, ya I made an extra one. So now all SDB's have all the upgrades I like. Light bracket Easy Dial for the powder measure Powder measure tuned and waxed Powder measure release Tabs on the locator buttons. Now my favorite part, loading with them. I'm thinking 357 will be first. |

Here is the family pic I promised. @wildearp @doubleshot00 @steve8140 @Strikefirst   Notice the one in the front is missing a 32 H&R Mag die set, new PM in front of press. Calibers are 380, 9mm, 38 Special, 357, 10mm, 44 mag, 45 ACP, 45 Colt, and 32 H&R mag if the dies ever go back in stock. Stands are for storage only. As this thread comes to a close, beware I'm going to that funshow again this weekend.  |
