Greetings. Now that the $200 is no longer required to build a suppressor, I'd like to try my hand at it. I'm a retired machinist, so the mechanics of it all are simple enough. What scares me is the dang paperwork! I went on line to a site that was praised as having a good DIY form 1 example, only to find it was a very old sample and does not match the present paperwork; by a lot! Further, the current ATF form still lists the $200 stamp, which is confusing.

Might anyone be willing to share a redacted example of their successful application? Mine would not be printed, but machined out of bar stock.

Thanks for reading. Let's hope this bubble of freedom doesn't pop in three years!

Thank you very much!
Did they accept your "300" caliber entry, or did you have to change it to 30 Caliber?
