I finally got around filling a Form 1 for SBR. Went to my local gun store to get things started with Silencer Shop. The process wasn't hard at all, 50 bucks and two days later I have an approved Form 1. Things sure have changed nowadays. |

Now that you have one and all your eforms login info, give doing one yourself a shot. It’s pretty straightforward, the most difficult thing is getting your fingerprint file and passport photo. Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. I have a few AR pistols, so I took my seven inch 7.62x39 one and did the Form 1 on it. I built it like 15 years ago and runs great after switching to a 5.56 ejector. The 7.62 one is a little thin and likes to break, maybe because I shoot a lot of steel case? Waiting on another red dot to show up because that's now on the 10" 50 cal. I like being able to switch out barrel and caliber size's temporary when at the range, best of both worlds. Everything fits in the case so I can't complain. I will redo the foam on the bottom of the case due to the hatchet job lol.

Why would the ejector be different? Are you sure that you don't mean extractor? |
I did the same thing back in January. I have never ever played the NFA game, and I didn't want to screw it up, so I gladly paid Silencer Shop to handle the paperwork. Didn't take too long and my little PSA pistol became my first ever registered SBR. It's cheap and fun. Congrats, sir!
