I assume the dsa optic dust cover is the best option out there nowadays?

Looking at the acog cut one for possible acog mount, but plan to run a red dot first

The cheap chinese ones work ok also.

The A.R.M.S. mounts are also very good if you can find one

The ARMS has nicer profile imho and fits tight

My ARMS fits the Metric receivers (Imbel & Argie) but not the Inch Pattern DSA.

I like my Grenadier Precision railed dust cover. Fits tight stays in place better than thr DSA one did.

Those are really good too.
We were lucky enough to stumble onto one ourselves.

Those stopped being made in the early 2000's.

Wasn't there one from Williams arms or some such? Also no longer made.

Yes.
I bought two and they are actually pretty good.
I had a Springfield armory gen11 4 to14 scope on a Gun Plumber built STG 58 and I was amazed how well the mount held zero.

I've had three of the ARMS models and two of the DSAs, I vastly prefer the ARMS but they're no longer made with no plans to come back into production.

Keep checking Gunbroker, the ARMS mounts pop up there from time to time.

Also on the EE here and the Marketplace on the FALfiles.

I found mine on the EE here.
