Hey folks, Curious if anyone has done this? Picked up a few 3 pos Alamo 15 triggers and they absolutely rock’n’roll on my Sr-16s but I have an extra one and was thinking hey…. Simulated full auto on an SR- 25 would be sick. Micah recently dropped a video showing it wouldn’t work on his LMT, but that was with a normal BCG installed( basically identical to the carrier in the SR25) … buttttt LMT does make a full auto cut bolt carrier for the sr25 pattern soooooo…. Has anyone tried it? Well if not I probably will. Have a spare EMC to go with my trigger. I think it could be the perfect match. An enhanced match if you will |

BCG geometry is different on a large frame, so the current set of FRTs won't work. Someone will scale it up, should be fairly easy. Since it's just larger, but the AR10/SR25 platform has a lot of small differences from one brand to another, so it may be platform specific |

Eta my feeling is since the SR25 uses an AR-15 trigger it could work as long as it has the necessary material on the body to trip the thing that functions as a sear on the trigger pack |

Stand the SR25 and SR15 BCGs side by side with the bolt face down, the sear trip surface is further back on the large frames, so it will not function the same way as the small frame. Been tested in a few different ones. My noveske N6, and Laurie 308 didn't work, much in the same way as the SR25 |

But the Lmt Full auto carrier is much more similar to that of a full auto AR carrier. Well I ordered one anyways so I will know in the next couple weeks |

I did a Grey Market Research Super Safety (FRT) in a Brownells BRN-10. They make it for a 308 with a spring that pushes against the rear takedown pin as on the AR10 platform there isn't a low enough ledge on the back side of the BCG to catch the trip lever. The lower shelf needed to be filed as did the upper to allow the super safety to rotate freely and I had to file and polish the trip. Runs a 308 great but its not easy to control - This is one I made to resemble a Portugues Para 16". ![]() BRN-10 308 Para Clone With GMR Super Safety FRT |

If a 147 grn 9mm at 1000 FPS is the hammer of Thor then a 165 grn. 40 at 1200 fps must a lightening bolt from Zeus!

The only reason I haven’t bought a super safety is I’ve heard they need various levels of fitment, and I’m also not a fan of the push safety as well, but you did great with that! The LMT bcg I ordered https://lmtdefense.com/product/full-auto-308-bcg/ |

Grey Market Research used to have an open link for 308 instructions for tweaking to have 308 gun work - There are some dimensional differences between brands that would for instance require cutting the spring a certain length on the SS. GMR has since taken the info page down but if you buy from them they might offer the instructions. That is what I used as my guide. Luckily I had to do very little. |
| Cant get the Rare Breed FRT to run in either my SR16 CQB or 14.5 Mod 2 carbine. Even trying different buffers and Springs just won't cycle, always one shot and jam. Crazy thing is that frt runs like a raped ape in all my regular mil-spec lowered setups with uppers from 20" down to 10.3". I'm baffled, is there something in the sr-15 series that would hinder the use of the frt? Would really love to get this thing to rock in my 14.5 mod 2 |

Would really love to get this thing to rock in my 14.5 mod 2 I have quite a few FRT-15 drop ins as well and tried them in a variety of guns- had many similar hangups most were fixable easily - -Generally a gun that is more gassed does better than under gassed (maybe more friction from the lever???) -Buffer type matters more than just weight - You need a dead-blow effect to stop the bolt bounce entirely. Use the H2 and H3 with sliding weights. I have had 10+oz heavy buffers that don't work then used an H2 with sliding weights it works fine. Goes from dead trigger with hammeer follow to running. -For some Reason rifle length buffers in rifle tubes have all worked well for me. |

Only one I have experience with is the Alamo 15 made by the now defunct Graves triggers, but I’ve tried it on like 6 uppers installed in my iws lowers and works on everything I’ve tried it on. Sr16 is my fav Using stock buffer and spring in the lowers, only modification was milling off the selector stops on the lowers for that 3 pos actuation to work. |
