Was it manufactured prior to 9/13/94?
|
|
|
I believe it's newly manufactured. Please educate me on the reference? :)

He wants to know if it’s a pre ban I guess.
Has to be for him to have it in his state. |

Has anyone ever witnessed anything that would indicate anyone actually wins these contests?

Remember the time Pepsi offered a Harrier Jet for 1 million pepsi points? Guy won it. Pepsi and judge said fuck off they were just kidding.

I’m not opposed to these ‘help the OP win’ threads, but I think the OP should disclose if the link provided gives the OP more chances to win.

They posted that to gain extra entries when you use it. Go straight to Classic Firearm's website if you want to enter. |

The link in the first post is a link builder that gives the thread author additional entries.
No clear violation of the rules here. Make your own decisions about whether to follow that link or go directly to Classic's site. |

Thanks for adding the pic, I didn't see the bloke was in Connecticut, makes sense as you pointed out about 94!

A few weeks ago, I even suggested we try to harness the power of ARF by trying to ‘win one together’. That said, IMHO, it should be disclosed by the OP or by a moderator in the OP. |

If I win this thing... I'm using it at my next run and gun match.

To those who have gone before us. May we earn what they have given.

Tricking others to click on a link that benefits only the poster could be argued to be a violation of CoC #7. |

Heya, the link goes directly to the contest, which I thought would be of interest to fellow FN fans.
You get the same amount of entries whether you go through the link I shared or directly to the contest. It's classics method of advertising and I have no Affiliation with them, just hoping to win like everyone else. If people dont want to enter then don't? I am really hoping an Arfcommer wins so we can feel like our time trying to win is justified, lol. |

Yes, as can be seen by others that didn't know and regret clicking on it, you'll have saved new viewers from the same regret. Originally Posted By AeroE: The member that reported this thread is not a participant. Or is he, under a second account? Nope, nothing of the sort, but nice try. I'd have thought you'd check the IP addresses or something before insinuating that, especially considering my posts above, but oh well. |

Make your argument to goatboy (and maybe DV8). goatboy's opinion (and the member that reported the thread) is that the link is a link builder, and that he couldn't find a violation, hence my comments above. Change his mind. Or, go directly to Classic's site and follow the link from the home page. |

I'm not an IP checker, and I not only don't have the tools to check, I don't care unless there is a serious problem. This is a trivial issue overall, and we aren't going to escalate in this thread. |

I'm been entering for years as well and just want to see a Brother from here win. I'd prefer it be me but if not and it's someone else that's great too.
I shared the contest to raise awareness. My link does give me extra entries but it doesn't give anybody who entries less. With any of these contests they're going to email you advertments. That's why you second up with an email you don't mind getting miscellaneous stuff at. If I won personally I'd take my friends out to the range and let them enjoy it, I'd film it so people could see it was legit, then I'd sell it because I'm poor and have a family to support :/ The Videos classic does like the outside the warehouse ones are pretty fun IMHO. Anyway I can delete my link if you someone is that butt hurt by it. I've been a contributing member of arfcom for decades and didn't realize that some people had gotten so sensitive here. PKM's for the win. How do these belt feds that are converted to Semi Autos actually function? I've heard mixed reviews if they are fairly reliably functioning or not? Obviously they're mostly a range toy but if they jam constantly that wouldn't be that fun.

Giving away 1 gun a month for the last how many months? You'd think someone here would be bragging about the barrett they won? View Quote Exactly. When I asked if anyone has ever seen anything to indicate people actually win these guns, I pretty much assumed that with all the guns they've given away there would have been at least ONE user here that would have made a thread about it. I feel like statistically speaking, there should have been at least one user here that won a gun from them and wanted to show it off. I'm not some arfcom super user or anything so I was genuinely asking. For all I know there have been threads. But I feel like I'm involved enough with the social side of the internet gun community that I would have at least seen something, over however long they've been giving guns away, that indicates they actually do give these guns to someone but I've never even seen anyone that even knows anyone that knows someone that has won a gun from them. |

Well hopefully if an Arfcomer wins they will share it here.

You have a 0% chance of winning. If auctioning a $10,000 gun cost them more than 50 cents per new email address, they wouldnt do it. Stop shilling these shitty companies.
