| I got my FMP kit back in the days from Federal Arms Corp out of Minnesota. It was one of the green stocked G3s from some Portuguese colony in Africa. Matching numbers, pretty good shape. Had it built by IGF on a JLD Enterprise receiver. Jason’s welds were better than the factory welds. The kit was $250, receiver was $175. About $500 total to IGF to weld it together and reparkerize it the factory greenish hue. Still have it today. Shoots like your typical G3, kinda a snappy recoil. I replaced the thin hand guard with a thick green POF handguard and the heavier buffer. |
| I have a non matching numbers kit. I bought it as a combo non matching fmp g3 kit and a Cetme c kit. For sure it’s rough. The metal items being rough doesn’t bother me because all of that will be refinished when the build is done. But the plastic shows wear and because of this I have bought one of the 45acp kits for it. It will never be a pristine example so figure do something different with it. |
| I've not seen any FMP kits that were above 'good' condition in quite a while but they were all complete (sans barrel) and serviceable. I wouldn't let Centerfire's "incomplete" kits scare you off, all of the small parts are available and relatively cheap. |

Mine was in pretty good shape. Those suckers are a PITA to put together though. I’m glad I have gunsmiths and machinists that will work for alcohol.  Barrel was in good shape - it’s not a precision rifle, but it shoots good enough. |

I shoulda bought a conflict Pre G/3 when they were available.

Thankfully I also know people who will work for alcohol and food. |
