Anyone know what country, or US manufacturer, made this scope mount? Scope is "Joyman" Hensoldt, I bought the mount because it's set up for it. The "access" holes in the top of the top cover are a LITTLE bit small to secure teh bolts, but I'll figure something out. Thanks. Attached File Attached File Attached File |

Looks homemade to me. The Argentina and Belgian STANAG mounts use screws or rivets to secure the mount to the topcover as opposed to tack welds, and the access holes should be wide enough to accommodate the proper screws for a STANAG base and counterbored so the screw heads can clear the carrier. This topcover was likely made for STANAG rings or a weaver adapter. |

I know it's not Belgian or Argentinian, this is a different pattern, but I do recall I had 2 of the (advertised as) Argentine mounts from SARCO years back, before they were sold and went all South Asian-like, and those 2 had spot welded mounts to the top covers. I think I recall someone, maybe Entreprise Arms, made something similar? Pretty sure they used to run an ad in SGN. FWIW, the seller I got this from has sold maybe a dozen the last year, he pulls one out, lists it, when it sells, he magically finds another a couple days later. The surface rust on the top cover and the front stanchion appear the same, so I don't think it's recent, part of what makes me think it's an Entreprise Arms production run from years ago. Someone has to have seen one before. Also, Google image gave no love.
