I have recently fallen down the rabbit hole of the air rifle market. At first I was looking to get a reasonably priced lower tier PCP or high performing springer break barrel for Squirrel hunting. After lots of research I am now in the buy once cry once mindset. I am pretty set on an Edgun but not sure which one I want. The Lelya 2.0 was at the top of the list and I found a used one with the accessories I was after. Brian at Edgun West is backordered on them. He suggested I take a hard look at the Leshiy 2.0 as well due to revolutionary features also said it would be even more left handed friendly than the Lelya. That is really more of an investment than I wanted to make though. The Leshiy classic is growing on me though after reading that the Leshiy Classic offers advantages to leftys over right handers. Compactness, concealability, accuracy, and the ability to still reach out past 75 yards has become my desires. So who has an Edgun? How was your experience? Worth the the money? Interested in hearing about Lelya Leshiy and Matadore experiences. |

Little high end for me but damn those are sexy guns EDgun Pron I went with: Beeman R7 and added a Hawke 2-7 x 32mm scope... squirrels hate me Crosman 2300S C02.. very nice pistol Beeman P17, Two so far, they are a "throw in" item at Amazon... best $33 pistol you will ever shoot Crosman 1377, because they have been around for ever Crosman 1077 C02 repeater, 12 shot... $20 on CL |
| I've got a Crossman 1377 as well. Also have a Marksmen Break barrel thats been around since middle school. I've just become infatuated with some of this new age stuff. Sub Moa, high energy, sound moderation. With ammo prices the way they are it makes sense to get in the game. |

I have an L2, it is a pretty cool airgun. May have to tune to get the best accuracy, but it is good enough for me within 35 yards in my backyard for pests. Needs a good air source as you will eat air quickly due to the higher pressure design and multishot capability Lots of options for customization, I have the carbon handguard and huma mod 40 moderator. With that moderator, it is still a little on the loud side. The stock moderator sounds a little like a lower powered nailgun. Get the 300cc bottle for extending your shooting sessions. I know another guy on here has one as he posts on Airgunnation every once and a while. He has a Halo thermal on his. |
| That was definitely one of my questions, i want quiet for occasional backyard use. Just wondered what your overall thoughts on it were. I shoot left handed and ive watched ed reload it by shoulder breaking it left handed so thats what i plan to do. My question is how far/angle does the stock have to be pushed to recock without resetting the safety? I plan on starting with .25 cal and running a Wraith 2x on it. Mostly squirrel hunting but would like it to claim a couple fox and coyote pelts as well. |

Well I’ve been really busy with family and work. But i was able to sight it in for fairly short distance backyard use. Still getting used to the trigger. It almost feels like their is no take up but its there and longer and fainter than you would think. Break has to be around 2lbs. The wraiths one shot zero was helpful and easy to use. First low shot then i used the one shot zero to move up to group left of bullseye. Three shots then one shot zeroed using the group to get to on the bullseye group.  Quick process. Group on bullseye is 4 shot group . Groups were at 15 yards, only had a few minutes one morning but i believe a little more time on trigger and they will be one hole stacked. Pretty impressed. The airgun was much quieter than i expected in this length. Quieter than a subsonic 22lr with a good suppressor. I had read it was around 112 decibels stock, could have been with shorter barrel. It sounded great.

I am loving my L2 Sparrow .25 - been blasting chipmunks and squirrels  being the curious person I took off the moderator and fuck it was loud and my ears where ringing.  i just switched out the grip to a Magpul MOE, much better, too bad I am limited to ones without a beaver tail. |

Think I might have to hunt one down. Where did you find one used? How do you like .25? Do you really notice a difference over .22? Think you'll try anything bigger? I've got a few Crosman 13/17/22xx based builds, which are great, you can do a lot to them somewhat economically, but you can only get so much out of them. The EdGuns are like an hyper evolved Prod. |

Yes airgun nation helped in my decision as well. I have a .177 caliber barrel for mine also but for mammals I like the .25. Barrels changes are very easy and with the wraith i just switch zero profiles without having to resight scope. I got mine used on Airgun nation classifieds. Lots of high end rifles on there. There was a used one in the classifieds on here a couple months ago. Squirrel season opened this week.
