Around this time I was getting into shooting/reloading but not rifle calibers yet.

I was told that the mini14 was a great option for shooting 223 ammo but the same was not true with the mini30 and ak47 ammo.

I've been thinking about this a lot lately but since I've lost all contact with my old lease buddies I have no one to run this by as my coworkers at the

pawnshop are all youths.

Am I misremembering or am I remembering a falsehood?

.308 bore vs .311.

Harder primers, possible light strikes or broken firing pins. Firing pins should be factory fitted.
