Well, I helped a friend efile his Sig m400 ar pistol as an individual on 2-24-23. He mailed in paper fingerprint cards the same day. He received his signed approval today, 3-13-23! I efiled my first ar pistol on 2-21-23 and I'm still waiting. The only difference was I filed mine in my NFA Trust

Or I could also have been making a compliant single shot or something like that. They don't know. But anyway, I figure it's too much trouble to get something from my local PD in writing even if I could. So I'll just resubmit with my Florida residence. |

Thank you If you have an EFT, you upload it there. If you upload the EFT, you don't send a copy of your prints in the mail. You do one or the other, EFT or mailed cards. |

Thank you Well they’re throwing mailed in prints aside and prioritizing EFT prints so if you can get EFT prints done, that definitely seems to be the way to go. |

Ok, we have established that Form 1 approval time does not depend on whether you submitted electronic prints or paper prints. Has anyone used a trust to file their Form 1 and received an approval? I used my gun trust and filed my first one on February 21st. Still waiting. |

Well I submitted 5 eforms 1 silencer and 4 SBRs, on feb 7. With mailed in paper fingerprint cards. On March 9 I recieved approval for 1 SBR. That is 30 days. The thing I can't explain, is The one aproved is the only one that uses a factory lower. The other 3 sbrs are on 80% home built lowers. There is no rhyme nor reason to there processing timeline. |
