I recently submitted a bunch of form 4s to move all my NFA firearms over to a trust. Before, they were all either possessed by me individually or by my LLC. I included the trust's Schedule A in the trust document PDF which I submitted with the form 4's, as per the instructions that came with the trust. But is including the Schedule A actually required, or will the ATF will approve transfers without it? For future transfers from a dealer I'd prefer not to have to give them a PDF listing all my NFA guns. I know I could just do a transfer from the dealer to me personally and then do a second transfer from me to the trust, but that's more work and I'd like to avoid that if possible. |
