Right now I'm using an Obsidian 9, tri-lugged. It's pretty long and kinda hefty.  I like it size wise in short form but it's pretty loud.  I'm looking for something to leave on my Kuna that's got a little bigger diameter, weighs less, and suppresses better than the Obsidian in short form. I'm willing to go a little longer, but want to keep it under 6 inches. It should also be able to use the tri-lug attachment method. Ideally it would be at or under 1.60 diameter also, so it can fit under the extended handguard that Midwest Industries is coming out with soon. HB Industries is also working on a rail, unsure what diameter suppressor will fit under it. That could open up some other options if it fits larger diameter suppressors. Right now I'm leaning towards the OCL Lithium. Also looking at the Omega 9K. Tossed around the idea of a YHM R9 but they're pretty heavy. The BOE IncoLite 9 looks interesting also, but I don't know anything about that company or 3D printed suppressors. What would be the best pick out of these? OCL Lithium Omega 9K BOE IncoLite 9 YHM R9 Anything else I should be looking at that fits my requirements? |

I don't think you'll be disappointed. Edit to add that there's no cleaning requirements. 👍 |

I can get a BOE IncoLite 9 for $415 shipped plus FFL transfer fee and Silencer Shop stuff. I'll still need to get a Resilient titanium tri-lug mount for it, but it'll still be cheaper, shorter, and lighter than a Lithium. The only question is whether or not the Lithium is quieter. |

I don't have a particular total weight limit or anything. I humped all sorts of heavier weapons around as a grunt. If I can shave a few ounces on a suppressor and still get similar performance, I'm all for it though. Plus, cans tucked under rails looks cool

I have an OCL Lithium on my MP5 clone, and it’s awesome (gas really only noticeable after a full mag): I’m still toying with upgrading to a Milkman for my PCC needs, and letting the Lithium swap around on my pistols:  But the Lithium’s lack of weight in direct thread form is awesome. I already bought the titanium tri lug adapter for it, but may keep it for a Milkman (which doesn’t come with a mounting mechanism). |

I ended up getting one of those Rugged RU3's to go on the IncoLite instead of the Resilient Titanium Gen 2 I'd been looking at. The RU3 is lighter and takes up less space in the blast chamber. I'd also read that the Resilient tri-lug adapter could be pretty wobbly. Figured the extra few seconds to put it on and take it off over a traditional spring loaded tri-lug adapter didn't matter since the suppressor will rarely be taken off the Kuna. Now I just have to see how my local FFL is going to handle the suppressor transfer... |
Got the IncoLite 9 in and installed the Rugged RU3 tri-lug mount. It's slightly longer than my Obsidian 9 in short configuration but much shorter than the Obsidian in long form.  Weight is basically the same as the Obsidian in short configuration.  Now on to sound... It sounds like the full length Obsidian 9 to me but I've not got a super discerning ear. It absolutely stomps the Obsidian in short mode though. Couple of quick comparison vids.
