Snagged a 16 along with a 17 in 2017 for a song when a friend of friend was going through a divorce. Both unfired, shot em both and moved the 17 as I was neck deep in 6.5CM/G at the time. Stamped it, sent barrel to PMM, and shot it not that much afterwards. It just didn't do much for me over the AR SBR's, so it got tossed in the back of the safe. I painted it within 4 hours of bringing it home, so today we're citristriping it! Are there any new stock options out there? I see the F5 looks the best but anything comparable that is not $400? |

I understand what you are asking. I use the OEM FN stock on both of my SCARs. This brand seems to get good reviews if you want a more compact stock: https://ottoarms.com/FN-SCAR-Accessories-c14481544 I have not played with one myself. I would avoid the F5 systems ACR clone; they seem to have fitting and quality issues. Out in the wilderness, people are finding the SCAR PDW OEM stocks, but they are not widely available yet. I am still waiting for a SCAR 15 pistol in 300 black out OR a SCAR 15 pistol with a 10-11” barrel. |
