Pros: The fit and finish is excellent. They feel like a PMAG. The magazines fit perfectly They are much lighter than OE SCAR mags: 130g vs 276g They drop when I press the mag release, even when holding the rifle up at an angle. Cons: They do not insert on a closed bolt with a full 20 rounds. |

Just got a handful of these, thanks for the show - Yeah, they're a little like the old Orlite AR mags in that while they say they hold a certain capacity, and they do technically hold that capacity...they feel like they're designed for one or two less than max. You can't even use a Maglula to seat the last round, you need to do it by hand. I also doubt they'd keep the rounds if you smack one hard or drop it. But, for range blaster mags...they'll be fine. |
