Ive been rolling this idea around in my mind for awile, and im putting my money where my mouth is. Want a packable semi-auto in a big boy carteidge that can mount a light and red dot thats comfortable to carry with an easily adjustable gas system to accommodate my -30 to 100 degree years temp swing. (This late winter we had a 50 degree swing in 12 hours). Chrome lined bore and chamber are a plus for costal high humidity. Picked up a 16" DSA Range Ready SA58, swapped out the Big Daddy Chonga cocking handle that it came with for one of the slick DSA metric folders, and one of DSAs rail kits that let me attach my trusty ancient Protac. Attached File Attached File Ive shot 220 rounds of PMC Bronze, Rem White box FMJ, and a couple boxes of Hornady Whitetail 150gr sp. Using 2 DSA Polymer mags, 2 DSA steel 20rd mags and one DSA 5 round mag. No failures, issues, or drama of any kind. Check out this group with the Hornady whitetail. Bottom left three shots were sighters. I didnt measure because it honestly doesnt matter a ton to me with this rifle, as long as its minute of charging moose. Needs some Rhodie paint. I'll take my 21" Para on hikes or just throw it on the passenger seat when going for a drive. Very handy. |

Hell yeah! I have a para 18” it feels much lighter than it is I plan on the dsa railed top cover and an AP pro along with some burlap strips and camo rattle can for an African game warden clone. These riles are not cheap but I’m very satisfied with mine so far. I used an MOE rail section and mounted it on the handgaurd the same way for future light use |

I think they look really cool as well. (Subjective). |

That Range Ready answers about all the questions I had about FAL rifles over the last umpteen years...what mags does it take? I confess to being out of it for quite a while, so does it take inch or metric? My credit card shrieked in mortal terror when I spied that one... |

DSA has been better than ever with new Metal mags that run flawless in my examples. As much the feedback seems mixed, I own three of the DSA Polymer mags made in the past two years and haven't had an issue with any of them. They actually feed very smooth. In the past two years I have been genuinely blown away with DSA products and customer service. Any issues or questions I have had they actually answer the phone with a real knowledgeable Ametican citizen who is always polite and always willing to help. They keep pumping out cool-as-hell new FAL products, and are regularly replenishing inventory. I deal with alot of gun companies and thier CS maze. Its refreshing when DSA has thier phone number in huge numbers right in the top right corner of thier website. Its the simple things..... and maybe im becoming bias with how much I love this rifle. If I HAD to pick something I dont like? Well... shooting that para stock from the prone sucks after 20 or so rounds. Not something I will ever do in the practical use/life of this rifle, but im OCD about a rock solid zero. |

I have 6 of the new metal mags from them and the poly one that came with the gun initially I was getting rough feeding with the metal mags and discovered nicks and burrs on the feed lips I took the mags apart and sanded the feed lips smooth and since then i haven’t had any issues. I wish three oh hate was cheaper so i could really run the round count up and throughly test out the mags but so far with the limited round count its been 100% |

I think they look really cool as well. (Subjective). They are not muzzle brakes at all. Combo devices are just flash suppressors. The other functions are being mounting points for BFAs and bayonets as well as being rifle grenade spigots (which requires the barrel to at least be the 436mm length FN offered to be workable; same for the bayonet, I think). |

Ive been carrying this on the trail and shooting as much as my wallet can spare. Out today testing hunting ammo in the DSA 5 rounders, and nothing yet had stopped this steam-engine. This is a 4 shot group from 80 yards or so off-hand with federal 150gr fusion. Nothing to post in the sharpshooter section but for my abilities and the purpose of this rifle is exceeds my accuracy requirements. Attached File A couple weeks worth of brass from this rifle. My 17.5 para is my go-to. Harder to choke than Linda Lovelace—eats anything. I have it set up with a Vortex PST 2-10 simply because I can’t see the irons anymore. It’s not a target rifle but I can make center hits at 300yds. Attached File |

I put on a pst 1-6 as a place holder until I get an AP pro but I was surprised to see close to 2” at 100 yards shooting pmc xtac fmj I had one malfunction shooting off the bench and I believe it was a case bouncing off my range bag and back into the the action but I’m not sure other than that it’s been awesome in 180 rounds so far |
