I have been using the TNC335R for a while now. I brought it out to ECNS. Hellion With ThermNight and sample video For those not familiar with the ThermNight, it is a digital scope. Day with night mode. It has an IR VCSEL illuminator to help the Sony Starvis2 sensor at night. The ThermNight also has a thermal sensor and you can switch between digital or thermal by pushing the button on the left side. Although I prefer to use PIP so I can see both. The ThermNight also has an integrated laser range finder and onboard ballistic calculator. The LRF is good to 1k yards. I have shot my 13" SCAR17S out to 890 yards using the ballistic calculator. At the ECNS I shot the 20" Hellion using AAC 77gr OTM out to 700 yards. See the IG post above and swipe over. It makes long range shooting effortless. Here is a deer that walked across the range. I ranged it with the LRF and it was 600 yards out. I used the digital to see it has antlers. Deer spotted with ThermNight |
