Someone posted that they went to a "special"day where you paid a few bucks extra and got to pick out a handgun yourself....as opposed to sending your money in and getting a gun via top of the pile. The poster said the facility had a few KAC M110's out also for sale. Sent by to the armory and were for sale....$25K each. Anyone know anything about this? A holy grail item for me would be a unit-used M110. Thanks. Note: The original post was on the 1911 page. |

I thought that anything like an M110 or other more modern / current use complete firearm (semi or not) was a no-go for a re-sale direct by the US to civies since Obama (or maybe even Clinton - not sure on the timing but its definitely not a new thing)? People have been complainnig about how much of a waste of money that policy is for years. That is why KAC takes them back when they can, throws a new receiver on them, then sells them to civies. Just saying. |

Just saying. This could easily be reversed if Pete Hegseth orders the DOD to surplus weapons for civilian sale and destruction is not authorized unless necessary. Now it’s just a matter of someone giving him that idea. |

Just to give some info on these. They appear to be war reserve stock that the program office did not have on their books (as they were war reserve and not live "inventory") and they were moved from reserve to CMP, as without the suppressor they are unrestricted for transfer. This is super unique, as the M110 is still in active acquisition, but the shot is already down-range, so there are some folks that will get very lucky. I obviously don't know the whole history on these, but from what I have seen they were not pulled from deploying units. |

| I watched four get bought. It was awesome. Wasn’t at the 1911 event. They didn’t want to put them in the room with the 1911s because you only had an hour. It’s a unicorn for sure, I’ve never seen one for sale on the commercial market with a reciever that said us m110 on it |
