I'm sort of looking at a DC Industries FAL my FFL friend has. It's been a while since I had an FAL type, I've had a PAC Imbel, a couple of the Century Imbel metric receivered rifles built as L1A1s in Canada, one of the CGW rifles years back, but not familiar with DC Industries. He also has an Argentine FMAP Rosario rifle, but it's about twice the cost, so really out of my budget.  Is DC Industries like "Laser Products" before it became Surefire, or was this Daryl in his garage knocking out a couple receivers back in the day? Input appreciated. |

I have a Brit L1a1 made by Coonan that runs fine. It’s a receiver I built up though. I chuckled at their maker’s mark.....”Fabrique Coonan”. Some people complained about that last brit batch but mine was fine. As far as I know they quit the FAL market shortly after. |
The only hyphenated names I like are cartridge names......30-06, 30-40, 38-55 etc.
