First question What is the proper plug type for the tape switch port on the rear of this September 1st, 2006, vintage Laser Devices Inc. DBAL A2 unit? I found a switch at Optics Planet that says DBAL A2 that looks different than others. I do not know how switch types have progressed through the generations and different manufacturers of this device. Attached below is the rear of the unit, a close up of the plug hole, a screen capture of the plug at optics planet, and a screen capture of a "crane" plug. I do not want to go shoving the wrong cable type into the plug hole and screw it up. Second question Can someone provide me a web link to buy the blue hex cap screw for the high-power safety lock-out for the left switch? Thanks for emailing us - I'll also reply here so other folks who stumble across this have the same info. Some LDI devices used a different connector that was smaller than the crane. The ID of the crane port will be around 5.8mm. Could be slightly smaller or bigger depending on where the jaws of the caliper go. The L3 ATPIAL blue screw is compatible with the DBAL.
