I just did a batch submission of my form 1 projects before the proposed changes at ATFE. I was wondering if the wait time for Form 1 currently at 46 days average is coming under or going above the average. I got another 3 more projects planning to do submit once the new changes are done or we get hosed. |

I have seen folks reporting they were disapproved for including the manufacturer prefix in front of model name (as it was engraved on the receiver), others disapproved for not including it, and others conditionally approved, with the reviewer adding a note to change the model name. Zero consistency. Buddy was just approved for an SP5 that he specified model as "HK SP5", as engraved on the top of the receiver. On day 44 of waiting to see if they approve mine, specified as "HK SP5 K-PDW"

I had my latest one approved at 63 calendar days. Even pre-2024 my form 1's weren't taking that long so at 61 days I called them. They gave me the IPB email address. They also told me that the 46 day average is working days, not calendar days. Maybe that's common knowledge to some, but I always counted calendar days. They also said that whatever I see on my eforms account is all they're going to know. When I emailed the IPB address they got back to me very quickly and repeated what the rep said on the phone call, and added they're processing forms as efficiently and quickly as possible, but the spike in submittals since the tax went away has created a massive backlog to be worked thru. Then 2 days later I received the approval email. |

I just was disapproved for well i actually dont know why and neither do they. They will not email you back and when you call you get no where. But most are waiting 60-70 days. But form4 is a week

My last batch of Form 1s came back at 66 days. I have 3 that have been in 56 days so hopefully in the next 10 days or so. I have had a Form 4 sitting for 21 days and still nothing back on it yet either. Everything is in a Trust so that probably has something to do with it. |

56 days and counting. I did 3 in Dec to beat the rush and they were 2-3 days. Even the early Jan ones weren’t to long. I guess the rush is here…. |
