I recently picked up my first can. A Q .22 Erector. I haven't been REAL interested in suppresors, but a shop close to me started selling on 4473s, and I figured that the more people take advantage of this, the harder it will be for the antis to stuff that genie back in the bottle. I love the thing. It mostly lives on a Taurus TX 22. It seems AL cans can be more troublesome to clean, and are easily damaged by some solvents. Any help for a noob would be appreciated! |
| Less of an issue on the erector as every baffle can be removed separately . Most the crud will be near the front so i usually just clean the blast baffle and the second one, super easy with a dental pick and nylon brush to flake off most the stuff. Just have to be really careful not to cross thread with aluminum |

If the baffles have lead, or 22 can. You have to scrape and pick off. Last year I spent a week. On and off, cleaning a SS baffle 22can PIA but worth it |
