| Going through a bunch of stuff out of storage, came across all my ST.com Christmas Cheer parts. Was saving them to put together and never got around to it. Got the upper (w/built-n BUIS), lower, barrel w/bolt, slick handguards. Just curious if people still have interest in this stuff. Also have the vice block to put it all together. Debating whether I put it together as a little build or sell off the parts. |

3 or 4 years ago a complete built 11.5” CC 1.0 was around $10k. Now a day maybe $14k and probably more if all the parts are brand new and unbuilt. Which barrel length do you have? Lets us see some pics!! And my vote is to keep it. Edit to add: there are also those asking for $20k which is also reasonable being there are only 50 CC 1.0 out there but at that price it will sit a while for the right buyer. |

| The best way to determine "worth" for something without a healthy retail market is via an auction with a penny start, no reserve. Most don't have the balls to do that, so they list at pie in the sky, I want to win the lottery, amounts. |

Or the smart move would be doing your diligence and research past sales and start the bid at what the last one sold for. If it sits and doesn’t sold in a month (which I’m assume OP is not in a rush to sell) then lower the bid by whatever he feels comfortable and start again. |

With ultra rare stuff like this, sometimes an auction can be a better move. It may not be until it’s been bid out that buyers respect a new market price. For example, let’s say the last one sold for $14k. Serious buyers will expect to pay around that amount, and might not go for a buy now at 18k. But with the limited supply, it’s very possible that a few of them could get into a fight and push the auction price to that amount. The risk is that you may list during a soft market, your auction might not get enough visibility, etc, and not enough serious buyers end up bidding. If you go auction, make sure to take excellent photos, appear to be a trustworthy seller, and set the auction to end at a good time (usually 7-9pm EST Sunday?) |

In those cases where a seller(s) is auctioning multiple of the same item, listing the new one after the current closes, the price has consistently gone in the opposite direction from my observation. | Agree with that. I should qualify that I’m talking about in the case where an item is rare enough that perhaps only a few (or less) are seen per year, and the “last one” might have sold 6 months prior. I didn’t research this item so I’m not sure if it’s in that camp or not. |

A quick penny auction will yield someone a good price as many are likely to not even see the auction in time. Best thing to do is list it for what YOU are willing to take for it as a start price or maybe set a high price and negotiate from there. |

Couldn't find the upper, then I remembered I'm an idiot and built it into a 16" recce a while ago. Found it so I took the opportunity to pull the barrel. Got a 16" Noveske I'm gonna throw in it so I didn't pull the handguard. Figure nobody wants something that's been built and painted so unless someone is gonna make me an offer I can't refuse, I'd keep uit and shoot the shit out of it. Unless someone's got an SR-25 they wanna get rid of! I had forgotten how light the laser engraving was on the lowers! Anyway, The barrel's 11.5", forgot to take a picture of the handguard cuz I'm a dummy, but figured I'd throw some pictures up anyway.        Interesting discussion. Thanks! I pulled the old URX off the CC upper, cleaned off all the krylon, and took a couple pics of it. Sans handguard since everyone knows what that looks like, and the barrel is the sexy part anyway. Will entertain crazy offers, but they gotta be nuts. Like GPNVG's. Multiple Bitcoins. '66 C10 pickups. IZLID's. Pair of Mini Uzi's ONLY with the dual shoulder rig like Chuck Norris. Only ridiculous offers will be considered

Hope all is well. Just to throw some clarification on the CC 1.0. Although it was originally (50) to start out, only (27) individuals ended up qualifying for the last component which was the barrel and bolt so technically there were only (27) fully complete CC 1.0's. The only reason I bring that up is because although I was lucky enough to get in on the fun, the fact that I started by purchasing the lower from a member who knew how much of an aficionado I was, but since I wasn't the OG buyer, I didn't qualify for the final part. Still a tiny bit sore about it till this day TBH although I have more than enough RARE and OG KAC gear to ease the pain. LOL.. Still have it and built mine using a 11.5 DD barrel, but I do have a spare 14.5 Dimpled barrel laying around and have been contemplating installing that on it. I wonder how many have the dust cover with the engraved KAC logo? |

That was before my time that I could legally buy stripped lower let alone a SBR

I was an OG lower and upper owner, but when it came time to get the barrel I had issues getting ahold of the fellow we were supposed to pay. I can't remember if there was a time limit or what, but it just never happened.

I even had Casey Seng and Kevin Boland try to see if I could be an exception since we shot matches together and worked closely with them through my LGS but Trey wasn't budging. I mays be willing to entertain trade offers if there's a 11.5 dimpled barrel floating around. |
