| Anyone here used one? I got my stamp back for my 870 SBS and I'm contemplating putting one on it. The other stamp is for a Mossberg Shockwave and it may get a Magpul stock Still deciding. |

It's on my list. I was considering one for my 1301, but I'm kind of thinking of putting one on my Mossberg Shockwave SBS. I've heard nothing but great things about them, but never put hands on. Fuckers are pretty pricey though. ROCK6 |

I shouldered one at the shop and it felt great. I think they are well machined and thought out. It is a very nice stock, but they are pricey. It's more than I paid for the gun. If you are willing to pay the price, I don't think you will be unhappy. I don't think there are tons out there because of the cost. I really like folders on SBS (or even 18.5" shotguns) as it makes them super compact for storage. You can fit them in a larger backpack that a fixed stock gun won't fit into. I had a large messenger bag that I used when I commuted on a motorcycle for over a decade. I could fit a 18.5" shotgun with a folding stock in the bag for transport. While definitely not as good looking, as mentioned, you can add a folding mech to a Mesa Tac stock setup. I have a few other folding stocks that I've picked up cheap over the years. One is a side folding Choate stock that I will stick on my Mossberg Shockwave when the form 1 comes back. I also have a Knoxx top folding wire recoil reducing stock that's been sitting in my parts box for years. |
