My adult son has a number of NFA items himself and know about using Form 5s after I croak, but I'd like to give him 1 or 2 to play with before that. He is on my trust, but none of the MGs are on the trust, only some SBRs and cans.

He's in AZ and I'm in TX, so I know that complicates things. Even if I move them into the trust they'll physically end up in AZ.

Anyone that can help this boomer lizard brain chart a correct course will be appreciated.

Form 4 them to the trust.
Form 20 them to his address.

Also, if you were to will the rest of them to the same trust, he'd have more options for family possession in the future after the trust inherits them on Form 5.

I filed 6 Trust to Trust Form 4's recently and was approved for all 6 in 3-4 days.
About a month ago.
