| Anyone use one of those cheap digital NV sights for rats? {Like the crystalnight m6, $95} It would be on a springer, not sure if the sight would handle the vibrations. |

| I just bought a ZULUS HD V2 5-20X Digital Night Vision Scope to puton my FX Dreamline but haven't tried it yet. Lots of critters running around here at night, raccoons, opossums, mice, etc and I hope to give it a try soon. |

Not exactly "cheap", but I played with a DNT Zulus in December and posted a couple videos in this thread https://www.ar15.com/forums/Armory/This-would-be-awesome-Rat-shoot/54-554296/. It was a lot better than I expected. Sorry that I got the focus messed up on day 4 video. Rifle used was an fairly high end PCP - so was not worried about springer recoil. |

Try a good quality red laser on the rifle and a head mounted NV on you. It is much better to walk around with and then just put the dot on the rat and squeeze the trigger You don’t need much power in the laser If you have one you can see with your eyes then it is probably going to Bloom big time. A LED will barely come on with low voltage, you could setup a variable voltage adjuster to set the red laser to be perfect. |
