I just pulled the flash hider from my recent batch ap53, I'm happy to see the same flat cut!

I have an AP51 on order along with some other firearms to get them before my state's ridiculous ban goes live this summer. Is anyone aware of a picatinny rear stock adapter option? Just trying to sort thru options and ideas for a stock as I plan to submit a F1 to SBR this thing as soon as I have it. I don't want to do a collapsible/telescopic stock on this, I have one on an MP5 and while it's aesthetically pleasing it's not really that comfortable to use. I did see that HKP carries an AP51 fixed stock for around $200 in various colors. Haga Defense also has the HDA3 stock - the AP51 isn't specifically listed, but it does say G3 clones and lists PTR PDW, etc. Has anyone tried this? Thanks |

Thanks There are also AR buffer tube type adaptors that fit onto the endcap it comes with like this: https://atlanticfirearms.com/hk-g333-buffer-tube-adapter The Haga HDA3 looks like it should work with the G3 adaptor, it again screws into the rear cap that comes with the gun. Only thing that gives me pause with that is it appears to ups a big rubbery buffer instead of the spring loaded type, not sure how healthy that will be long term. |

Unfortunately I might not be getting this after all. The distributor refuses to ship to my state. It's never been an issue before, they either just takes the mags or the FFL here blocks them.  I could get my local store to order it in to their store instead of using a drop shipper, but we have a sin tax on firearms here and their price is already higher since I found a solid deal. It'd cost me over $500 more than I paid originally so at that price I think I'm out. |

| I saw that the UTG Pro mounts were redesigned to work on the 33/53/93 and G3/51/91 but that compatibility doesn't show up on their product page or at any of the retailers I checked. Did that change actually make it to production? Is it a different sku that I'm missing? |

I got the recoil assembly from HKP so I can use an a3 stock, but the rod is just too long. It's closer to 10" rather than the 9 5/8" it's supposed to be so I can't lock back the cocking handle. Anyone else run into this? Just thought I'd ask before chopping it down a bit. |

Yes, I ran into that exact problem. The HKP recoil rod was hitting a hard stop inside the cocking tube. I disassembled it thinking I’d need to drill further into the recoil rod and tap holes deeper after trimming the ends, but the threading and holes were deep enough that I didn’t have to. I cut roughly 1/4” off of either side, cleaned up the cut and reassembled it. Works fine now. |
