Does anyone make a kit, or can the parts be purchased, to have a semi-automatic  case feeder?It appears the only option from Hornady is the full electric kit. I don't want the electric feeder, just tubes I can fill with cases by hand, then feed the press from those tubes. Similar to the Lee case feeders, except for the LNL AP. |
Bought a 3d printed one for $100ish that works pretty well. It can accommodate popular calibers but I’ve only loaded 9mm. 3d printed casefeeder for the Hornady Lock-N-Load AP |

| I've used the 3d one shown in the youtube video above for 9mm, 357 sig and 45 LC and it has worked fine for all three. I bought it from the guy who posted the video on youtube, excellent customer service, sent me a video of my unit running before he shipped it. |

I'm currently printing the case feeder now (quite literally), it will take some time to get all of it printed and the misc. parts needed... I suspect by next weekend I'll have it operational for 9mm and 5.56. The guy that posted his on Thingverse has an updated one that I'd love to see the files to, but alas I can only download what he made available. If you purchase it from him you'll get the latest one. Once I see how this one functions I'll update files and make recommendations or changes to him but he deserves all the credit for the hard work as far as I know. I purchased it from him and he said I was getting an updated one that has components that are different from the free download because people kept stealing his shit. If anyone wants any detailed pictures let me know I can send them. I really like the system. Works extremely well. I use my LNLAP for bulk processing brass. Mostly sizing and depriving almost exclusively. I bought this kit because I didn't want to run dirty brass through my xl650 case feeder and I figured with a 3D printed one if it gets dirty I could always just print a new part. It has worked extremely well so far. Here's how I use it to deprime and size 300 blkout brass (there's no sizing pin in the Hornady die, only the sizing button). Attached File |

I fully believe he deserves his due for making the project to begin with... 3D printing is still a relatively new venture so it's tough keeping your hard work from ending up as someone else's payday. I know anything I make I'll want to share, but it would disappoint me to know someone took my hard work and figured out how to earn a buck with little to no effort... I don't blame him for being pissed at all. I'm about 3/4 done with the print now (I had some adhesion issues on the larger pieces)... I'll order the misc. pieces from McMaster-Carr today. |
