I have a Cannon CS5530 with the type B keypad that is randomly beeping. I thought it must have been a dead battery because it wouldn't accept my combination, so I changed the battery and reset the combination which seemed to work...for one day. Now it's beeping randomly again, and sometimes will only accept 5 of my 6 digits for my combination, will let me key in the whole combination then give like 4 quick beeps and not open, or won't respond at all. Is this something I can handle myself or do I need to subject myself to attempting to contact Cannon's technical support? Resolution: Cannon is sending a replacement keypad. |
