Buying one of these today as that’s what my 4473 ffl dealer has in the way of cheap cans I’m willing to buy just because. Its primary host will be a Keltec RDB 17 that currently runs a Gen 1 TurboK. Which of these 2 would be a better upgrade in sound over the Turbo K? Gas blowback is not an issue with the rdb but this can may also be used on more gassy hosts from time to time. ETA: I’m still waiting for my dealer to get in an HRT AM that he orders over 2 weeks ago. It will live on a 11.5” BCM. This is just a relatively cheap way to scratch an itch and to do a 4473 but still want something decent. |

| Good price on both those cans. Not a lot of user info out there on either. The inconel blast baffle in the AAC should be more durable under abusive fire than the thick 17-4 blast baffle in the Void if that’s a potential use. The Void’s venting front cap option might give more flexible uses across hosts though. |

Yeah it’s kind of a toss up to me. II prefer the look and nostalgia of the aac and that may end up being the deciding factor lol. They also have the ranger 5 rbp for 499.00 but man it doesn’t meter well at all. |

| I have six AAC cans, including the M4-2000 with the original 51-tooth adapter . These were bought in the golden age of the original AAC with Brigham who now runs Q. That can is, to me, the quietest of all but it has significant back pressure into the receiver. The recent incarnation the AAC M4-2000 has less back pressure than the previous ones. Moreover they are an American company and I would not buy a bullet from the Turks. They are like the Chinese, our enemies, and we're funding their research and development by buying their products. |

The Ranger 5 was shot at 2023 silencer summit (10.3" barrel). ML dBA 135 and SE dBA 139 The Canik was shot at 2026 silencer summit with no indication of which end cap (16" barrel). ML dBA 140 and SE dBA 141 Being the same size and weight plus $100 less, the Ranger 5 would be a good choice. |

I think they positioned the mic a little closer to ear or something to that effect. Andrew from Otter Creek said the voids should be as or more quiet than the polonium’s with the solid cap so I’m guessing those numbers are with the flow cap. Still though for $100 less and primarily on a well tuned host I’m leaning toward the aac. I’ll be at the ffl around 4pm and will let yall know which direction I went. I’m just stoked to do a 4473

I paid 2X what you did for it when it was released in 2023. Well worth it then. Only complaints I remember hearing from the time was some extra long muzzle devices/mounts wouldn’t work. |

Different universes of back pressure between the two if that matters to you Also comparing 10.3 vs 16 inch barrel lol |
