Anyone own one?

Thinking it may be nice addition but dont see much of anything about them. Local 4473 dealer has one and I thought it may be a step up from a TurboK that is curently on an RDB or maybe with the vented cap might work well with a Tavor?

I have an HRT 556-am on the way too, but that is meant for my gassy 11.5" BCM shtf rifle.
Doesn't mean that much to me to mean that much to you.

@AndrewKing (OCL) makes these for Canik. He’s described them as a Gen 2 Polo K with some backpressure reduction if I recall correctly. No time on them but I’ve heard that much like the Polo K, they’re a good value and a nice compact package.

Picked one up a couple weeks ago. Haven’t shot it yet, but I really like it from a build and quality standpoint. I also have a Polo K to compare it to. I’m excited about it.

With the OCL ties, I’m surprised it’s not getting more attention, but it is still fairly new. I was all set to get a Stacy’s Mom but this was in stock at a decent price and essentially had the same features. Once I saw Andrew’s breakdown of it I had no issues choosing the Void. And the Void comes with both end caps in the box.

With the Rhodie/Fireteam madness I don’t think much else out there is getting talked about in “suppressor media”. No shade on either of those, they look like great products.

What’s funny is they’re really not selling that many. It’s niche internet hype and influencers who got them for free lol.

Exigent has had to cancel going to 2 events because he doesn’t have the money to travel. You don’t do that if you’re selling cans.

SilencerShop doesn’t carry them, no distributors carry them, they’re in a few small shops and that’s really it. They’ve done a good job looking like more than that but it’s just not.

For clarification, which suppressor are you specifically referencing?

I feel a manufacturer that does not sell through Silencer Shop is losing a huge market share.

I just picked mine up yesterday. It hasn't even been on a rifle yet. Did I make a decent choice?

I sold one to a customer a few weeks ago. Doubt he has shot it. I was a bit surprised by the weight of it. Its a heavy can. And the pattern on the outside just makes it look fat and adds more weight it seems.

Im interested in seeing how it sounds

He is talking about Exigent not being on silencershop. Which is definitely leaving some money on the table.

@AndrewKing cant stop talking about exigent, even though he "really doesnt care."

I have the full size 556, and have been pretty happy with it especially for the price.

That's the one I got. I'm excited to try it out.

(That one, plus a Rugged Obsidian 9, and a Dead Air Mask. Yesterday was a good day.)

I was looking at the 556-K but went for a Tisha.  Now I’m thinking the Void-762 might be good on AR-10s.  Plus the .30 cal can could pull double duty on 5.56 as it’s only an inch longer and 2 ounces heavier than the Void 556-K.

I know we have canceled some events like NRA convention just because we don't want to waste the time pre-fitting a booth, taking it down, shipping it, being at the show, coming back receiving and reorganizing stuff.  Running a company you have a lot of stuff every day to get done- like managing HVAC work, electrical work, infrastructural projects, debugging problem equipment, managing development etc.  Losing 3 weeks or 4 of focus for a show is 7.7% of the year.

If there are like 400 people at an event, a lot of them are there for entertainment for the day (something to do on a weekend) and the ones buying are looking at 20 brands or something.  An event might sell 40 cans for a company, and 40 cans might profit $8000-10,000, and the travel and hotels, meals and payroll could be $10,000, add ammo, it could be $12,000 total without factoring lost time that could be spent doing something else.  Some of the events want the brands to pay like $4000-$12,000 just to be present, so some get that high before logistical cost starts.  A lot of the time most of the motivation for being at an event is employees who want to get out and do something.    We picked up one event this year that costs a $10,000 membership year one, to be able to spend like $12,000 or $14,000 plus expenses to actually attend year 2.  I briefly heard about that and it was a funny sounding concept- trying things at least once isn't a horrible idea I guess.

It's not uncommon to hear brands in like a 3rd or 4th year at an event who can't tie any sales to the event.  I saw plenty of that at the ISOF range day.  At what point is an event a bad investment?  That's what any company in that position is contemplating.
