| I got a Weidener's Gunsmith Yugo SKS two days ago. Although they advertised these as having serious rust problems, even in the barrel....what I got was a almost new rifle missing the gas tube assembly. There was no rust, nice perfect blue finish, no dings in the stock, perfect shape but missing a major piece. Oh well, I guess its another $100 to invest to get her running again, but that's the roll of the dice with 'gunsmith specials.' Looks like they were just clearing out the bottom of the pile. |

The two reasons I quit were the super heavy trigger, and 9x18 became hard to find at the time. having a fixed barrel it was an accurate little pistol. I also didn't like the grips, and the only alternative to that was a hand-all sleeve. The sights weren't the best but that wasn't a big deal. I think the CZ 82 would offer some alternatives for these issues, in a slightly larger package. The Radom guns work, but they are a bit crude. |

K-31 Swiss 7.5x55 on sale at Gander Mountain, regular price was $399, on sale for $299, for me was $324 out the door. They had the price tag at regular price but website lists at the sale price, employee looked it up and they had not been tagged at the sale price.
Best thing, absolutely beautiful gun, all numbers I found were matching, plus mag matched. Bore was dark, but looked to have pristine rifling. Bluing is best I've seen, wear on ears of front sight was mostly it. And the beech stock(not a very orange looking on) is not all chewed up... Also came with a brown leather sling that seems original, in fact the sling seems to have more wear than the rest of the gun. I've been looking for several months at four different gun stores, best gun I've found and at the best price. Honestly I've been reluctant to purchase sight unseen online. Sometimes a blind squirrel does find a nut. Hking |

_DR, I was at another Gander Mountain around Memorial Day in the Houston area, the guns were not marked down then/there either. I just happened to see the sale price on their website, as of 5 AM this morning it is still listed under "Waffenfabrik Bern K31." Th employee did not know the guns were on sale and did not know how long the sale would last, he said it was probably an in-mail flyer.
Devil, Sorry no pics now. I'm a newbie to the Swiss milsurp guns, "#s matching" is a whole new ballpark for me. I haven't done anything yet, but when I break it down I will be looking for that troop tag, cool history for sure. I figure since they are selling the unserialized bayo for $80 and sling/muzzle cap for $15, then essentially you are paying for the best K31 you can probably get for $85 over their normal price. Worth it to me. My current K31 is beat and ugly. A friend sold it to me (at a good price though). It shoots amazing. I will keep shooting that one. This new one will be my treasured collector piece. I need to now step away from the keyboard since I spent too much lately. |

Just me they are really nice in the picture though. I did get my 2 shooter grade cz82. The nicest one is broke. The slide release lever falls out. And a small spring fell out as well. The trigger guard is fit incorrectly and when you depress the slide release and the slide closes the trigger guard drops out of place. Is there a solution for this problem or should I send it back? |

They are not refinished... Just the best of the rifles they have been getting over the last few months. I figure since they are selling the unserialized bayo for $80 and sling/muzzle cap for $15, then essentially you are paying for the best K31 you can probably get for $85 over their normal price. Worth it to me. My current K31 is beat and ugly. A friend sold it to me (at a good price though). It shoots amazing. I will keep shooting that one. This new one will be my treasured collector piece. I need to now step away from the keyboard since I spent too much lately.

I would call the vendor and ask them to take care of it. Unless you bought gunsmith specials the seller should work it out with you, If it was AIM they usualy make it right.
