Got a plastic container of parts, tried to get pics of the markings. There are more parts, probably enough to build a trigger group at least, along with other gas cylinders and a barrel. Just sharing and looking for any info.

The first production Garands were “gas trap” cylinders. They were found inadequate and quickly upgraded to ported clyinders. Early parts are desirable for those that want to return an early rifle to that configuration. Attached File |

| So based on the type of part it means it was used on one of the gas trap type guns? Since it is way back in the trigger, not sure how they could tell, other than part numbers, I guess. |
