A good friend surprised me yesterday on an inherited item. His passed Father in law had a nice little firearms collection along with this Browning BAR 1918 A2 Training Cut Away rifle manufactured by J.H. Kenney & CO.. The DEPT. OF THE NAVY-OFFICE OF NAVAL RESEARCH SPECIAL DEVICES CENTER data plate date is 1954 with a serial number under 160... It's 96" long and heavy. Of course he is interested in it's value. I found anywhere from $3,500 to over $20,000 from auction sites. Condition seemed good needing a good cleaning from pictures. And he said the magazine disconnects and there are dummy rounds with it? WILD after all these years it's still intact! Who would you contact to sell? I told him since he's retired Military like me to donate it to a Military Museum in his Father in Laws name so his name lives forever. Just saying.... But boy is it a neat piece |
