Alright So, I'm really thinking of a Heritage 92 Ranch Hand. Unfortunately, the configuration I want (.357 octagonal barrel) is only available in stainless. Are there any options other than cerakote and nitride/DLC for blakcening it? A darkened "patina" is cool too. |

I've used a similar product to this on a Badger ordnance stainless steel gas block and it ended up more like a patina than turning it totally black. It kind of aged it.
